In the Lateran Treaty of February 11, 1929, ratified on June 7, 1929, the sovereignty of the Pope over the Vatican City with the Vatican enclaves was recognized by Italy. In the Vatican City there are also the Vatican Collections (Collection of Antiquities, Vatican Library, Vatican Archives, Vatican Picture Gallery.)
