The 1984 Olympic silver dollar was designed by Robert Graham. Obverse depicts Graham's sculpture with the Coliseum in the background. The reverse features the American eagle. Dated 1991-1995 and issued to commemorate the 50th anniversary of U.S. involvement in World War II, which last from 1941 to 1945. The coins were minted in 1993/ The obverse if this clad half dollar was designed by George Klauba. It depicts the faces of three members of the service superimposed upon the “V” for victory symbol. The reverse, by Bill J. Leftwich, portrays a Pacific island battle scene. Gorgeous proof coin with minimal marks and frosty features on deep mirrored fields.
