Eritrea (Coins)

This former Italian colony on the coast of the Red Sea was part of Italian East Africa from 1936 to 1941, and was occupied by the British in 1941. On September 15, 1952 Eritrea was federated with Ethiopia as an autonomous territory and later in 1960 became an Ethiopian province.
