The second largest country in the world, Canada, has an area of 3,851,809 square miles which includes 291,571 square miles of inland water. About 87 percent of the population live within 200 miles of the southern border. Much of Canada is wilderness of forests and frozen land. Canada is a strong manufacturing country and sells about two-thirds of its products to the United States. Exports include aluminum, iron ore, lumber, petroleum, and paper, plus related wood products.
