	The largest Latin-American country both in area and population with 3,286,488 square miles and 133,655,000 inhabitants. Fifth largest country in the world. Most of the population lives along the Atlantic coast in a 300 mile strip. All other area in Brazil is thinly populated. About a fourth of the trade is with the United States. Coffee is the major export.
